India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mauritius’ PM Pravind Kumar Jugnauth to virtually inaugurate and lay the foundations of the India-assisted Social Housing Units project in Mauritius. The two nations have jointly agreed to extend a US$ 190 mn Line of Credit (LoC) from India to Mauritius for the Metro Express Project. Prime Minister Jugnauth of Mauritius also dedicated one of the major stations to Mahatma Gandhi.

Nigeria is set to launch a second satellite (Sat 2) to boost the nation’s satellite communications capacity. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami aims to include this in the 2022 Budget. He made the announcement during his visit with the staff of the Nigerian Communications Satellite in Lugbe Abuja.
