Bangladesh Trade and Investment Summit ends with $1.16b investment potential
Seven-day Bangladesh Trade and Investment Summit 2021 comes to an end with future prospects of $1.16 billion investment from foreign firms. Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) President Rizwan Rahman said that 552 local and foreign firms from 38 countries attended 369 business to business (B2B) sessions and showed their interest to do joint ventures.

Nigeria unveils the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), also known as the eNaira, in Abuja. The country’s digital currency is expected to raise Gross Domestic Product (GDP) by $29 billion in the next 10 years, according to an elated Buhari. According to the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, eNaira will reduce the cost of financial transactions, and improve the efficiency and transparency of payments.
