African Development Bank signs agreement to fund regional financial market infrastructure of the West African Monetary Union
The African Development Bank signs a grant agreement of $400,000 with the Dépositaire Central/Banque de Règlement of the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) to advance the regional financial market infrastructure. The funds are expected to automate and modernise the real-time information system through a digital platform.

Bangladesh Flag Day

African Metaverse set to boost economy and create employment
Africa plans to commercialise the 3D virtual reality experience, through Ubuntuland, a virtual land that marries creativity, cryptocurrency, and commerce. Announced at an event in Johannesburg, the virtual land aims to connect Africa to the global digital economy. Also, Africarare and South African superstar Boitumelo Thulo will collaborate on creating virtual Boity tribe avatars.
