FTX chief Sam Bankman-Fried says Bitcoin has no future as a payments network
Crypto billionaire and FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried criticise the crypto “proof of work” system. According to him, cryptocurrency is inefficient in verifying millions of transactions with its high energy costs and climate impact. “The bitcoin network is not a payments network and it is not a scaling network,” Bankman-Fried said.
