Sri Lanka will be celebrating its 75th year of independence. The celebration starts with a flag-hoisting ceremony, cultural dances, national parades and various performances. All the schools and most of the businesses are closed on this day.
UK unveils ‘world-first’ plans to regulate crypto and digital assets
In hopes of making Britain “a global hub for crypto-asset technology”, the UK government unveiled plans and proposals for regulating digital assets. The new framework will enable safer storage and transactions for consumers. It will have more robust standards covering all the rules and regulations for the parties involved.

Sovereignty on a server: Meet the digital nation of Tuvalu
In order to safeguard its heritage and tradition, Tuvalu, a nation composed of small coral islands in the Polynesian subregion of Oceania scattered over the Pacific Ocean is in process of creating its virtual replica on the Metaverse. It will be the world’s first digital nation with no physical borders. But questions like how sovereignty will be shifted to virtual reality are still ambiguous.
