The 3-day conclave was inaugurated by the Indian Trade Minister, Piyush Goyal. It was jointly organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the EXIM Bank of India, in association with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Conclave was also attended by the External Affairs Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar, who emphasized India’s exploration of joint pharma and vaccine manufacturing facilities in African countries.
