Rama Navami India
Rama Navami is a Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. On this occasion, people observe fasts, chant prayers, and perform puja (worship) in honour of Lord Rama. They also decorate their homes and streets with flowers and lights and organise processions known as the ‘Rama Navami procession’ in which people dress up as characters from the Ramayana, the epic tale of Lord Rama’s life.
Commonwealth and Intel launch AI learning platform for public sector leaders
The Commonwealth Secretariat and Intel collaborate to jointly launch a digital learning platform that facilitates the understanding and utilisation of emerging technologies by public sector officials across 56 commonwealth countries. This initiative aims to dispel any confusion surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) and equip officials with the necessary knowledge to harness its potential.

African Development Bank approves $28.49 million grant to enhance Ghana’s universal electrification goal
Ghana gains approval of a $28.49 million grant from the African Development Bank’s Board of Directors to construct renewable energy infrastructure, which aims to increase its use of renewable energy by 10% by 2030. The funding will assist in constructing mini-grids, stand-alone solar photovoltaic systems, and solar-based battery facilities for excess power storage, also known as net metering.
