Queen Elizabeth and Prince Edward launch Royal Baton Relay in honor of Commonwealth Games
Queen Elizabeth and Prince Edward mark the 2022 Commonwealth Games baton relay, a sporting event held every four years with athletes from across the Commonwealth. The baton will travel for about 294 days with the Queen’s message to the Commonwealth. The event will take place in Birmingham, the second-largest city in England.

SPBD (Tonga) launches white goods financing program
The South Pacific Business Development (SPBD Tonga) Microfinance empowers its members to start, grow and maintain micro-businesses with its loan program – White Goods Financing (WGF) in partnership with Durga Lakshmi Manufacturing Ltd (DLM), one of the largest white goods retail stores in Tonga. The main goal of the organisation is to provide its members access to finances and business development services.

Nigeria exploring business opportunities with Jamaica
At a virtual Service Excellence Conference, Nigeria’s High Commissioner, Dr Maureen Tamuno says that Nigeria is exploring opportunities for trade and business with Jamaica. The High Commissioner further added that formalising a new air-service agreement would be a “win-win endeavour for both countries”.
