RIBA releases film that educates young students on climate change and the built environment
The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) releases a short educational film to spread awareness among young students about the relationship between climate change and sustainable environmental designs. It aims to empower the younger generation to think of creative measures to combat the current climate crisis. Award-winning poet and BBC Radio Presenter Rhael ‘LionHeart’ Cape has narrated the film’s story.

India to tax cryptocurrencies at 30%, puts digital assets in highest tax band
India to impose a tax of 30% on earnings from cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said at the federal budget. It will be in the highest tax band in the country while the government is yet to confirm the legalities of cryptocurrencies. The central bank is also aiming to introduce a digital currency by the next financial year using blockchain technology.

Canada’s CGX Energy reports oil and gas discovery off Guyana coast
Canada’s CGX Energy and Frontera Energy, the Joint Venture announces discovery of an oil and gas reservoir off the coast of Guyana at the Kawa-1 well, in the Corentyne Block. The drilling on a second well is likely to begin later this year.CGX is currently assessing several strategic opportunities to obtain additional financing to meet the costs of the longer than expected drilling program.
