After gaining independence, the first ever flag was waved on March 2, 1971. The green colour in the flag represents the grace of the green landscape while the red disk is a symbol of the sun rising over a new country.

Africa plans to commercialise the 3D virtual reality experience, through Ubuntuland, a virtual land that marries creativity, cryptocurrency, and commerce. Announced at an event in Johannesburg, the virtual land aims to connect Africa to the global digital economy. Also, Africarare and South African superstar Boitumelo Thulo will collaborate on creating virtual Boity tribe avatars.
