Pakistani startup empowers the hearing impaired with tech
Wamiq Hassan, a computer engineer, and two of his friends Ali Shabbar and Abdul Qadeer, who are both visually impaired, co-founded the DeafTawk. It is a first-of-its-kind sign language interpretation app. The app aims to empower the deaf community with quality sign language services and help them overcome everyday challenges.

Climate change: West African countries mark $294 billion to meet challenge

Commonwealth Games Australia partners with Harvey Norman for Birmingham 2022
Harvey Norman, Australia’s leading retailer will be the official sponsor of Australia’s Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games team. Commonwealth Games Australia CEO Craig Phillips said the partnership will help us “prepare and send a team of 425 athletes across 21 sports, plus another 250 officials, to the Games in Birmingham.”
