Seychelles wins the title of the world’s most romantic destination at the grand final celebrations of the 29th edition of the World Travel Awards. This island republic in the western Indian Ocean has won the title for the third consecutive year surpassing other commonwealth nations like Barbuda, Maldives and Antigua.

The Pacific island nation of Tuvalu teams up with Sydney-based creative agency, The Monkeys to co-create a digital version of one of the islands. Simon Kofe, the Minister of Justice, Communication & Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu, also revealed its plan to preserve and digitalise the island’s life and history due to climate change and rising sea levels.
