Julia Charlton, the chairman of the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce, had the wonderful opportunity to interact with Félix Mbayu, Deputy Minister to the Cameroonian Minister of External Relations in charge of relations with the Commonwealth. They discussed numerous cross-border partnerships and evaluated existing collaborative arrangements. Drawing on this evaluation, the Commonwealth aims to chart a new roadmap for future partnerships with Africa, ensuring their effectiveness and sustainability.

The 3-day conclave was inaugurated by the Indian Trade Minister, Piyush Goyal. It was jointly organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the EXIM Bank of India, in association with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The Conclave was also attended by the External Affairs Minister, Dr S. Jaishankar, who emphasized India’s exploration of joint pharma and vaccine manufacturing facilities in African countries.
