These meetings will serve as a platform for representatives from all member countries of the Commonwealth to come together. Their primary purpose is to facilitate the exchange of views and discussions on collaborative strategies related to governance, sustainable development, and climate issues. On September 21st, Ministers participating in the Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting (CFAMM) will receive an update on the progress made in preparation for the upcoming Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).

Salman F Rahman urges entrepreneurs of commonwealth countries to invest in IT

Salman F Rahman, the Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Adviser, urges global businesses from the Commonwealth countries to invest in various sectors in Bangladesh, including agriculture, industry, and information technology (IT). The Commonwealth Trade and Investment Forum was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the chief guest at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in Dhaka.

The was conducted in partnership with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Zi Foundation. It attracted over 300 international delegates, including 13 ministers from Commonwealth countries, participating in the two-day event.
