Nigeria’s automotive tech company, Autochek agrees to acquire automotive marketplaces Cheki Kenya and Cheki Uganda from Ringier One Africa Media (ROAM). With the acquisition, Autochek will expand its footprint with seamless access to auto financing across the African continent.

India’s commerce ministry notifies tariff rate quota (TRQ) and procedure for import of goods that are covered under India- Mauritius free trade agreement. India-Mauritius Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Partnership Agreement (CECPA) is a free trade pact that covers around 310 export and 615 import items from which both countries can benefit.

Bangladesh’s largest B2B commerce startup ShopUp raises $75 million in its Series B funding round led by Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures. With the new investment, the company has raised over $100 million. It also marks the first investment by Valar Ventures and Prosus Ventures in Bangladesh.
