An electronic record label has opened a school in Sierra Leone
An electronic record label ‘Lost on You’, in collaboration with Street Child, an organisation that supports children living in the world’s toughest places to go to school and to learn, opens a primary school for children in Sierra Leone. The label raised roughly €12,000 to build the school.

Tanzania’s Zanzibar launches program to uplift small businesses
Tanzania’s Zanzibar President Hussein Ali Mwinyi launches special identity cards (IDs) that will be used by the government to identify small traders and extend relevant support like providing loans for their businesses. He also announced a package worth $43.2 million to support the small businesses.

African Development Fund approves $116m to upgrade road corridor in Tanzania
African Development Fund approves a loan of $116 million to Tanzania to upgrade a 160-km Mnivata-Newala-Masasi road corridor in the southern part of the country. The loan comprises 98.71% of the project cost while the rest will be borne by the Tanzanian government.
