Ghana to host first-ever African Paralympic Games in 2023
Ghana to host the first-ever African Paralympic Games in 2023, the President of National Paralympic Committee of Ghana (NPC-Ghana) Samson Deen revealed this week. About 50 African countries are expected to participate in the continental showcase. NPC clarified that the Ghana administration has pledged to provide the necessary assistance and infrastructure for the event.

Shelter Afrique plans $15m prefab factory in Cameroon
The Nairobi-based, Pan-African housing financier Shelter Afrique enters a deal with Cameroon to set up a prefab factory to provide low-cost construction materials. The lender has approved establishing the $15 million Industrial Housing Corporation (IHC) close to the main towns – either in Yaoundé or Duala.

Malta’s first space research touches back down on earth
Malta’s first space research experiment lands back on earth and is expected to be back in the hands of scientists soon. The project team sent samples to the International Space Station (ISS) of micro-organisms that cause diabetic ulcers in a bid to analyse how the tissue will going to react under extreme conditions.
