According to the study conducted by a cybersecurity firm, Surfshark, Ghana ranks 89th among 110 countries in the Digital Quality of Life Index (DQL). The third annual edition of DQL covered 90% of the global population and evaluated countries based on a set of five fundamental digital wellbeing pillars where Ghana ranked 106th in internet affordability, internet quality (99th), e-infrastructure (99th), e-security (78th) and e-government (83rd).

African Development Bank (AfDB) to support trade valued at $7 billion over the next five years in a bid to spur the growth of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) that went into effect on Jan. 1. AfDB will be targeting small and medium-sized companies, climate-friendly enterprises and women-owned businesses for its various trade intervention facilities.

At present, only about 4.5% of Africans had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, according to the continent’s top public health official. The proposed site is likely to include drug substance manufacturing as well as bottling and packaging capabilities.
