WB prepares to inject US$40m in Gambia’s agriculture
The Gambia and World Bank to fund Gambia Inclusive and Resilience Agriculture Value Chain Development Project (GIRAV) with about $40 million. The minister for Agriculture Hon. Amie Fabureh in a virtual statement recognised the importance of the agricultural sector and infrastructural development.

Klasha expands to Ghana to facilitate cross-border payments
Klasha, a San Francisco and Lagos-based international online payments company expands to Ghana. According to Jess Anuna, CEO of Klasha, ‘our solution will simplify the process, removing payment and last-mile delivery barriers.’ The company also has a multi-currency wallet and a mobile app with added functionalities, which will include instant money transfers between Ghana and Nigeria.
