Mozambique and Malawi agree to forge cooperation in diverse economic sectors and boost investments in the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA). During an official visit, Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera together with President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique launched the construction works for the Mozambique-Malawi power transmission interconnection project at Phombeya in Balaka District.

Ghanian Members of the Rwandan community set to launch Umuganda in the West African country. Umuganda is a homegrown solution where people in Rwanda come together to carry out communal work like sanitation and environmental conservation. The launch will be done in collaboration with the Rwandan High Commission, the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly and the Ministry of Sanitation and Water Resources of Ghana.

Biya — an online sales platform for plant-based and chemical-free merchandise that wants to bring India’s cottage industry into the limelight. A startup founded by Pooja Singh and Prateesha Malik sells Manipur’s traditional Longpi pottery crafts. The stone pottery is done from a mixed paste of black serpentine stone and special brown clay. The founders believe in “sustainable living practices ” and ensure that all their processes are “completely plant-based.”
