The largest crypto exchange Binance Asia to close its exchange operation in Singapore. Buying and selling of crypto for existing assets of users will stop completely from January 13, 2022. With immediate effect, no new user registrations will be permitted nor existing users will be able to make deposits on the platform. The exchange stated that “all accounts must be closed by 13 February 2022.”

The gender disparity issue is a global problem but Africa seems to be most affected. According to Project Syndicate, in sub-Saharan Africa only 30% of professionals in the tech industry are women.
