South Africa makes plans to launch communication satellites
The South African government is considering ways to fast track its satellite programme that could be ready to launch in just three to four years. President Cyril Ramaphosa recommended the government develop and launch a geostationary telecommunications satellite that would offer its services to the entire Southern African Development Community (SADC) region.
