Nestlé Malta partners with a local NGO called Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna to plant over 100 trees at the Fort Rinella nature park in Kalkara. It is also in line with its global goal to plant 200 million trees by 2030. Nestlé will also take on the upkeep and care for these trees encouraging cross-pollination, vital for environmental sustainability.

India becomes the 3rd top country hosting unicorns as per the Hurun Research Institute report. It has displaced the UK from the spot by adding 33 unicorns in the 2021 start-boom. ‘Unicorn’ is a term used in the venture capital industry for privately held startups with a value of over $1 billion. Education technology company Byju’s emerged to be the most valuable unicorn in India. Mobile ad-tech firm InMobi was the second and Oyo rooms stood at the third spot.

The Head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II, recognises Solomon Islands’ Mr Joe Billy Oge as the 208th recipient of the Commonwealth Points of Light award in honour of his exceptional voluntary service. Mr Oge as Chief Commissioner of the ‘Solomon Islands Scouts Association’ has been a key figure in the organisation’s transformation and revitalisation in the country.
