St Vincent and the Grenadines is exploring options to host the first-ever Carnival in the Metaverse or a ‘Metaverse Mas’. The commonwealth island nation through its Minister of Culture Carlos James has been doing discussions on managing an event in a virtual space. With the recent rise in Covid- 19 protocols, they want real-world partying concepts fusioned with a digital world.

Her Majesty The Queen recognises Singaporean charity co-founder with Commonwealth Points of Light award
Head of the Commonwealth, Queen Elizabeth II, honours Amanda Chong, with the 212th Commonwealth Point of Light award for her exceptional voluntary service in improving literacy among the less privileged society. Amanda is a Singapore based lawyer, poet and co-founder of the literacy non-profit ‘ReadAble.’
