Nigeria is set to launch a second satellite (Sat 2) to boost the nation’s satellite communications capacity. The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Ali Pantami aims to include this in the 2022 Budget. He made the announcement during his visit with the staff of the Nigerian Communications Satellite in Lugbe Abuja.

The UK to host the second Africa Investment Conference on 20 January 2022. It will be a one-day virtual event that aims to unlock economic cooperation with millions of pounds of new investment, especially in clean energy industries in both the UK and across Africa. Prithvirajsing Roopun, President of the Republic of Mauritius, launches a law textbook entitled ‘Arbitration of Industrial Disputes in Mauritius’ during an official ceremony held at Hennessy Park Hotel in Ebène. Several personalities were present at the launch event. The book is authored by the president of the Redundancy Board, Mr Rashid Hossen.
