Botswana plans to erect 200 MW concentrated solar plant
Botswana aims to construct and operate a 200-megawatt concentrated solar power plant. It is set to be one of the biggest clean energy projects to date. The Energy Ministry has issued the invitation for companies to pre-qualify for the energy project to be completed by 2027. About 61% of the new projects in the country will be renewable according to the Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority.
