The Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce invites NFT artist Visithra Manikam and creator of Visithra from Malaysia to share her journey in discovering the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and how her shift from the traditional art community to the online platform community changed her personal and professional life. Manikam is one of the verified NFT artists in Opensea with 102 ETH volume traded for her collection – Visithra. Her art is now collected globally with over 220 collectors including The Medici Collection owned by Snoop Dogg.

To help female entrepreneurs explore digital infrastructure opportunities for E-Commerce and Digital Marketing, the Commonwealth Secretariat invited them over a 3-day workshop in Nepal. Women from South Asia including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Maldives were present at the event.

Kathirgugan Kathirasen, known as the foundee of the US-based food robotics company, Chowbotics, in a fireside chat with the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce says Malaysia will need to learn incentivising technology like China. He said strict regulations only hamper the growth of startups and other developing industries such as the drone industry.
