Women leaders inspired by sharing experiences and best practice at leadership workshop
The Commonwealth Secretariat with the UN Women and Caribbean Women in Leadership (CIWiL) jointly hosts a workshop on Leadership for Good Governance and Social Transformation in the Caribbean. Female leaders, aspirant politicians and political leaders from across the Caribbean led spirited discussions during the 3-day event promoting equal participation of women at the local and national levels.

Seychelles to launch historic atmospheric balloon satellite
Seychelles launches its first atmospheric balloon satellite to collect data on the greenhouse gas effect. This event is a joint collaboration between the Department of Science and Technology in Seychelles and Space Kidz India (SKI) which is an aerospace organisation for young scientists aiming to encourage students in science and technology.
