Online social media platforms will now be required to register and open offices in Nigeria. They will also need to appoint contact persons with the government. According to the country’s National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) these platforms will have to file annual reports with the number of registered users, complaints and inciteful content taken down due to misinformation.

In order to promote entrepreneurship and innovation, Indian Railways will invest about 50 crore INR annually to fund startups. The investment policy aims to encourage research and development (R&D) in the private sector that could be helpful in the modernisation of the rail network.

Rwanda Space Agency (RSA) signs an agreement with the Global Satellite Operators Association (GSOA) to advance its space-based services for better connectivity in Rwanda and the other parts of the continent. GSOA is a platform that focuses on collaboration between satellite operators globally.
