Ghana Founders’ Day
This holiday was originally observed on 21st September to recognize the birthday of Dr Kwame Nkrumah. On this day, the country gathers to watch the president and prime minister join Nkrumah’s decedents to lay wreathes at Nkrumah’s monument. Small celebrations are held throughout the country, where people enjoy traditional recipes to celebrate the history of the country.

St Kitts and Nevis Culturama Day
The festivities of this holiday usually start from the end of July and last throughout the month of August. Celebrations involve concerts and music, parties and food fairs. People march through packed streets and thousands of spectators from across the world visit to enjoy the events.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern marks Treaty of Friendship in Samoa
New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern makes a special visit to Samoa commemorating 60 years of friendship between them. New Zealand also plans to restart education, scholarship and skills exchange with the first day of borders reopening since Covid-19.
