Mwalimu Nyerere Day Tanzania
Known as the “Father of Tanzania”, this day is an acknowledgement of his life and work. On this holiday special events are held across Tanzania. Exhibitions, ceremonies, and other events also take place in the capital city of Dodoma.
King Charles coronation to take place on May 6, 2023
The 73-year-old monarch, King Charles III will be officially bestowed with his crown at the coronation ceremony on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey in London. The palace said Camilla, the Queen Consort, will also be crowned alongside the King in the historic ceremony. The ceremony will also reflect the monarch’s role and other future plans.

Commonwealth works with Antigua and Barbuda to help prioritise the rights of persons with disabilities
On World Mental Health Day, the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Human Rights Unit (HRU) assessed the needs and concerns of people with disabilities and mental health conditions. They planned a project to support and implement accessible policies as per their needs. The Commonwealth Secretariat urged to protect the rights of persons with disabilities and ensure their involvement in all emergency communications.
