Tuvalu to preserve the island nation’s land, culture and history in the metaverse
The Pacific island nation of Tuvalu teams up with Sydney-based creative agency, The Monkeys to co-create a digital version of one of the islands. Simon Kofe, the Minister of Justice, Communication & Foreign Affairs of Tuvalu, also revealed its plan to preserve and digitalise the island’s life and history due to climate change and rising sea levels.

Commonwealth trains over 500 police in Mauritius on protecting human rights
During her visit to Mauritius, Commonwealth Secretariat’s Human Rights Unit conducts 5-day training with the local law enforcement to help and bond their understanding towards diverse communities and policing human rights principles. The workshop also highlighted international human rights standards and helped them incorporate strategies for maintaining public security into their day-to-day operations.

First airport metaverse takes flight in India
