India aims to develop crypto SOPs during G20 presidency — Finance minister
India’s finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, unveils its plan to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) for digital currencies during its G20 presidency. Group of Twenty (G20), is expected to host more than 200 meetings across the country to address relevant issues affecting the global economy.

World Food Day marked in Uganda
To mark World Food Day, Uganda’s Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja visits an agricultural products exhibition at National Crops Resources Research Institute, Wakiso district, Uganda. She emphasised supporting collaborations of researchers and farmers on urban farming and commercialisation during the visit.

Kenya ships first batches of batteries, tea under AfCFTA pact
Kenya trades batteries and tea to Ghana under AfCFTA pact. It is the first consignment from an East African economy after 21 months of the AfCFTA pact. According to AfCFTA secretary general Wamkele Mene, this trade model is based on: a single market for Africans, made by Africans! Under this approximate 96 varieties of products can be freely traded from the eight African countries.
