Family Day Canada
This holiday is promoted to encourage people to spend time with their families. It also raises awareness about the problems of the families and acts as a symbol of strengthening their bond with love and affection. On this day people generally go skiing, skating, ice fishing, playing hockey, and partake in various winter activities.
Mahashivaratri Day
People celebrate this festival by chanting prayers, holy fasting, and meditating. It is a day when devotees celebrate love, honesty, empathy, charity, and forgiveness. People chant “Om Namah Shivaya” and recite the Shiv Chalisa (devotional song) while offerings milk, fruits, leaves and sweets to the god in temples.
Malaysia’s economy records 8.7% GDP growth in 2022, the highest in 22 years
Strong domestic consumption and investment helped Malaysia’s GDP record 8.7 per cent, the highest in 22 years, according to the data revealed by the Bank Negara Malaysia and the Department of Statistics. It is now the fastest-growing economy in Asia comprising the recent surge in tourism activities.
