Britain’s Asda and Morrisons settle London lawsuit against Mastercard
One of the UK’s largest supermarket chains Asda and Morrisons have reached an agreement with the global payments processor Mastercard in a multi-million-pound lawsuit. The suit was over multilateral interchange fees (MIFs) charged to retailers.

Commonwealth heritage training programme completes its first project
Around 216 years old, the old British Residency in Hyderabad, India completes its final phase of restoration. The project comprised a team of 16 young trainees from the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Commonwealth Heritage Skills training programme. It is the first restoration project launched in May 2022 and funded by a UK charity called the Hamish Ogston Foundation.

U19 Women’s T20 World Cup: Rwanda make history
Rwanda defeats Zimbabwe by 39 runs to record a historic victory in the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2023. The win was a combination of poor batting performances by Zimbabwe while from Rwanda, Merveille Uwase and Cynthia Tuyizere displayed a solid partnership of 49. Captain Gisele Ishimwe also put up an all-round show to the significant win.
