Saint David’s Day
On this day, people in Wales wear traditional Welsh national costumes, such as the Welsh hat, and attend special church services to honour Saint David. Parades and concerts are held throughout Wales to celebrate Welsh culture and heritage, including traditional music, dance, and food.
The daffodil and the leek are the national symbols of Wales and are often worn or displayed on Saint David’s Day as a symbol of national pride.

Brunei National Day
Hari Nasional in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei’s capital, starts early with a crowd of 20,000 gathering in the Padang for official proceedings. The Sultan leads the ceremonies in full military regalia, which includes a procession of the royal army, police, students, and organizations. The event ends with a performance of silat, an ethnic martial arts dance. Devout Muslims attend mosques to pray and listen to sermons and readings as part of the celebrations.
