Eid Mubarak to all! Feasting is a big part of Eid al-Fitr celebrations, and families prepare special dishes and sweets to share with their loved ones. Some of the traditional dishes include biryani, samosas, and sheer khurma.
On the day of Eid, Muslims put on their best clothes and perform a special prayer called the Eid prayer, which is usually held in a mosque or an open space.

The African School of Economics (ASE) has teamed up with partner universities in Africa and Finland to unveil the first 5G Mokki Tech Space in Africa. This network comprises immersive digital learning and remote workspaces. This new type of trans-continental tech studies will expand ASE’s presence in remote areas of Nigeria, Ethiopia and Zambia helping communities with high-tech education, remote job creation and digital entrepreneurship.

Nigeria’s construction and civil engineering company, Hitech Construction plans to build a future water reservoir in the Sarakawa locality in Togo. The project, as announced by the Togolese government aims to improve access to water for the inhabitants of the area and the town of Kara located 22 km northwest of Sarakawa. The dam will treat and distribute 22,000 m3 of raw water per day to households via distribution networks. The authorities hope that at least 500,000 people would benefit from this project in terms of drinking water and irrigation.
