Britain celebrates with ‘deeply touched’ King Charles after coronation

King Charles expresses his profound emotions towards the celebration of his coronation. The celebration carried on with street parties leading up to a concert at Windsor Castle, featuring renowned singers such as Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Andrea Bocelli. The coronation ceremony of Charles and his wife Camilla was held at London’s Westminster Abbey on Saturday, accompanied by grandeur and ceremonial splendour, making it Britain’s most significant event of this kind in 70 years.

Zoho launches Ulaa web browser, unveils AI strategy

Zoho Corporation, a software company based in India, has launched a new web browser called Ulaa, joining the ranks of Google, Apple, and Microsoft. Ulaa, which means “journey” or “voyage” in the Tamil language, is designed with a focus on user privacy and features built-in tools to prevent tracking and website surveillance. Zoho has announced that the browser is free to use for everyone and will remain so. Ulaa’s unique selling points (USPs) include privacy protection, productivity tools, and various user modes. Ulaa offers a kids mode that features ad-free entertainment, as well as educational games and apps.

Afreximbank launches US$3 billion Country Programme with the Government of Kenya

In Nairobi, the Government of Kenya and Afreximbank (African Export-Import Bank), signed a Country Programme worth US$3 billion. The ceremony was attended by President William Ruto at State House Nairobi. The President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Afreximbank, Professor Benedict Oramah, and Kenya’s Honourable Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of National Treasury and Economic Planning, Professor Njuguna Ndungu, signed the memorandum to establish a framework for the implementation of the 3 year Country Programme. The program aims to provide financial support of up to US$3 billion facilitating viable trade and trade-related investments in Kenyan public and private sectors.
