Netcoins owner BIGG Digital Assets to fully acquire Web3 Firm Terrazero for $20m
BIGG Digital Assets, the entity listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) and holding ownership of the online cryptocurrency brokerage Netcoins, has entered into an agreement to acquire additional shares of Web3 enterprise Terrazero Technologies Inc. This transaction, valued at $20 million, is aimed at obtaining the remaining shares of Terrazero not currently held by BIGG. The anticipated conclusion of this transaction is set for September 2023.

Reliance Industries Ltd. is embarking on a new journey into the realm of blockchain and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), as revealed by Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman and Asia’s wealthiest individual. Chairman Ambani’s conglomerate, Reliance, has set its sights on the financial domain with the recent launch of its financial services arm, Jio Financial Services (JFS), earlier this month. This strategic move has gained further momentum through the announcement of a partnership with BlackRock (BLK). The revelation of its latest ventures into CBDCs and Blockchain took centre stage during the company’s pinnacle event of the year, the annual general meeting.
