The citizens of Zambia celebrate the day by honouring their nation’s convention of solidarity and peace under the slogan “One Zambia, One Nation” through acts of charity and community service as well as awareness campaigns across the country. Traditional music, dancing, concerts and other such jovial performances take place all over, with some of the most memorable celebrations taking place in Lusaka.
