Telenor Group will continue to look for “merger opportunities” in Pakistan, said the CEO of the Norwegian telecom operator which runs telecom business in nine markets across Europe and Asia. He quoted after announcing merger plans in Thailand with a local entity in an $8.6 billion deal. Currently, the country has four cellular networks with a total of 187 million subscribers.
