The African Development Bank, through the Africa Fertilizer Financing Mechanism (AFFM), is set to support the African Fertilizer and Agribusiness Partnership (AFAP) in Tanzania with a $2 million partial credit guarantee. This funding will assist suppliers and importers in acquiring fertiliser for agro-dealers located in the Tanzanian hub. The primary objective of this project is to enhance productivity among smallholder farmers by facilitating their timely access to appropriate fertiliser and promoting its effective use.
