Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has unveiled a $3 billion investment in cloud and AI infrastructure in India, alongside partnerships with key organisations across sectors such as healthcare, finance, education, and public services.

Collaborations include RailTel for AI-driven rail and public sector transformation, Apollo Hospitals for healthcare copilots, and Bajaj Finserv to drive financial AI innovation. Mahindra Group will launch an AI division, while upGrad aims to train 1 million STEM learners in AI by 2025. Microsoft partnered with India AI to establish AI Productivity Labs, skill 500,000 individuals by 2026, and support 100,000 developers. The initiatives highlight India’s growing role in global AI leadership.
