Malawi Interconnection Project (MOMA), the 218 km transmission interconnector and Matambo Substation upgrade under Mozambique to end by October 2023. Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM) has shared the contract with L&T from India, Sino hydro from China and Gopa Intec International from Germany. It will cost around $127million and add 50 Megawatts to the country’s power grid.
