In a period marked by global food shortages and disruptions due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the small island state of St. Vincent and the Grenadines is celebrating an oversupply of vegetables on its local market. Various programs such as a national -Buy Local Campaign, Operations Green Sprout and the Producers Cooperative Union (for a local unregistered group of young agripreneurs) aided in mobilising support for the sub-sector.
