Constitution Day in Ghana is a relatively new public holiday and has been declared an additional holiday. The Constitution defines the basic political standards that establish the structure, systems, forces and responsibilities of the Government, the structure of the judiciary and legislature, and also defines the basic rights and duties of a citizen.
