Kalahari GeoEnergy Ltd announces receiving a grant of a Reconnaissance License for the Chiweta geothermal prospect in northern Malawi. The license was granted by the Malawi Ministry of Natural Resources, Energy, and Mining. The main objective is to assess the feasibility of commercial power generation, however, opportunities for direct applications will also be explored. Kalahari is also in a way of developing the Bweengwa geothermal prospect in Zambia.
