Renowned Indian production house Sunshine Pictures Ltd, led by film and television producer-director Vipul Shah, has filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The IPO includes a fresh issue of 50 lakh shares and an Offer-for-Sale (OFS) of 33.75 lakh shares, with promoters Vipul Amrutlal Shah and Shefali Vipul Shah selling 23.69 lakh and 10.05 lakh shares. Proceeds from the fresh issue, up to INR 94 crore, will be used for long-term working capital, future growth, and general corporate purposes.

Sunshine Pictures is known for producing films, web series, and TV serials. The company has delivered 10 commercial films, 2 web series, and 2 TV serials. Current projects include co-productions with Jio Studios and a web series for Prasar Bharati. Upcoming titles include Good Morning Rhea, Governor, The Kerala Story 2, and Whistle Blower. The company has reported consistent profitability over the last three fiscal years, with a net profit of INR 45.64 crore in H1 FY25 and revenue of INR 133.8 crore in FY24.
