Fiji’s national women’s rugby team is all set to join Australia’s Super W league this season. The Fijis will play against Australia’s five Women’s Super Rugby franchises as preparation for the Women’s World Cup, which starts this October in New Zealand. Australia Rugby’s chief executive Andy Marinos said that the tournament’s expansion into the South Pacific would assist in the popularity of Fijian rugby.
