Commonwealth Secretary-General, Rt Hon Patricia Scotland KC, will attend the fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) in Antigua and Barbuda. From May 27-30, 2024, the conference aims to establish a new program of action to support the sustainability and resilience of Small Island Developing States (SIDS) over the next decade. Secretary-General Scotland will lead a delegation advocating for the interests of the Commonwealth’s 33 Small States, focusing on critical challenges such as the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
