The Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce, in delegation with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC), recently participated in Cameroon Investment Week in India, significantly strengthening economic ties between India and Cameroon. A key highlight of the event was a dinner organized by Donatus Boma, Director General of the Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) of Cameroon, which served as an excellent networking opportunity.
At the dinner, representatives from the Commonwealth Chamber and CWEIC engaged with senior IPA officials to explore potential collaborations and investment opportunities in Cameroon. Discussions focused on Cameroon’s investment climate, sectoral prospects, and strategies to attract foreign direct investment, offering valuable insights into the country’s economic growth initiatives.
This event also allowed the Commonwealth delegation to connect with Cameroonian business leaders and government representatives, paving the way for future partnerships and joint ventures. These new connections are expected to foster mutually beneficial projects and further enhance economic relations between India and Cameroon.
